Just a heads up, I will be running this car at the Sleaford BRCA National if anyone wants to take a look.

White it is then! (although I would run pink if available of course!  :D)

I'm not 100% sure what colour the wheels and wing will be on launch cars but I would put a guess on Black. I know the factory are not keen on white wheels and have already discontinued the 155mm in white, this may or may not affect the wing too? Also, the production photo's are all pictured black so one would assume that's what's in the box...........possibly.........maybe.............who knows!  :D

One thing is for sure though, I'm looking forward to having a play!

On another note, the shell on my car was painted by a friend who is happy to paint for others. So if anyone wants a nice paint job, give me a call?

Rik 3 things ,one lead time on shell painting (approx. ) Ball park 3 colour cost ??   and you got
the white right ,However if they come Black accessories I think a silver /gunmetal paint job
would look cool  8)

Cheers Chaps  :D

Painting is around £80.00 plus delivery charges, if anyone is interested they can be ordered through us.

Please note, these are race paint jobs, not Fine art   Although the quality of finish is very good, I'm chuffed anyway!

Rik ,thanks for the Info , Now you have your RR5 together ,How are you running servo wise ??
3 or 4 servos ??  ,what shape battery fits the Box ??  .
Noticed very few Euro Guys ran 4 servos ? I wondered why ?  I mean Heat near pipe , Radio
function limitations ,Simplicity perhaps .Let us know when you have a min ,Cheers Mike .

Spoke to Rik for Half an Hour this morning ,one of our shorter calls   and he is Quite
busy getting his RR5 ready for this weekend , going to run 3 servos 5765's ,I asked about
the 3-4 servo thing and his thoughts were keep to 3 reliable large scale servos and run
the two brake links of one side and throttle the other ,plenty of adjustment on the links ,
and a minor weight saving ,plus eliminating small servo failure gremlins on race day  ;)
The Euros was the Final production test ,and lots learnt ,all sorted to be passed to us ,
in our new machines .
Global release is 2nd week oct  from MCD ,everything shipped same day /days then down to
the method of shipping and where you are ,doubt if many will opt for Air Freight (Importers
that is ) about £100-140 a unit out of the profit ,but you never know , we in the UK are
looking 14 days + from despatch ,Europe Quicker (Robitronic ) bt then thay have to re-Ship
to dealers ,as for over Water Usa ,Oz ect  not sure .
While on the phone Rik tried some batteries in the RR5 radio box , Anything will fit ,even
2 x5 cell hump packs ,3 cells down end to end ,with height to spare ,to give you an Idea .
He will post some radio pics later  :)
