Looking Excellent Joe ,looking forward to updating my other MCD's .

Franco , the two parts are an excellent fit before the M5 bolt goes in , In affect it's only
holding the cone part down ,the prototype has had no Issues at all ,simple ,smart and
very strong ,another Classic Jofer Upgrade  :D :D :D

Mike, yes the product is very good, but the SS bolts i would not recommend. I have been testing those SS bolts from when i started this post...
www.mcdracingforum.com/forum/index.php?topic=3015.msg26680#msg26680

And as advised in that thread i have had no joy with them and will be replacing them all. So would be best if Joe does not use them.

As I said in this application ,a very minor Issue , As you know I replace most bolts with Elcon
torx at some stage , I didn't in this case ,may do later ,see how many I have in stock   .
Don't forget you have to look at costings to Retail /Availabuility etc ,not like us pull 2 out of
our tool box      8)

Franco is like mike says
The two pieces fit very tight( precession fit) , if you want to remove by hand, after removing the screw, You could not take a part
The screw is just to lower the post in the pocket and hold together
And your not  really suppose  to never remove it
But if you want to exchange it for another of your choice is fine is not thread-locker when we assemble
We do not believe that is a big deal in this type of application

Mike, In this application, it is far from a very minor Issue, you know very well what happens to the Ackerman Bar when the steering takes a good hard hit... no way that a SS bolt, even an M5, will handle the pounding that it will get.

Joe, It was just a recommendation to you. I just don't understand how you make a quality product and then add a SS bolt  :( :(  As Mike said he replaces mostly all bolts with Elcon Torx, ie minimum HT 10.9... SS is less than a quarter of  that strength.

Franco
As I said before, the reason is for this application, I not think is big deal
Of course you can use titanium screws but the price goes up, and the more you add  more price goes up
These parts  we took 5 Dollars off , with those savings can you add  the screw you want
 8) 8)
PD. we send you the servo tray pics you request tonight
