Dave, I have a spare tuned pipe you can try/borrow. It is the Pro pipe VRC pipe, I can't promise it will work with your engine but if you are stuck please let me know.

Just looking for a spare pipe (As in cheap  ;)) as ive seen 3 samba's split in the same place now.
Mine looks ok at the moment but be a shame to be at a race for it too split and not have a spare.

Jase sell me yours for £40 after all the help i gave you at the weekend   Oh and your shocks as well.  ;)

Felt ok, Bit twitchy on the steering with the step studs on but i could get used to it, Ill have to got some coming for mine   ;)

You just need some decent bumpers now  8)

And well done on your second place finish, Im sure you'll do even better at the nook..
Seems a great idea to have an On , Off switch instead of the normal type throttle

Dave, the old Mielke MCD tuned pipe is another one to look out for, they were cheap new so should be peanuts for a used one. Guy Hayward used one in his V4 at the last Sweetnap national.

Do you need to change the stock V4 axles/hubs for the HPI Baja ones to mount the Elcon wheels? Both you and Jason are welcome to try my Ultimate wheels/KCR (medium) multispikes at the next national. I also have a set of used (once I think) and new step studs that you can have, they are the red (hard) compound and a nightmare to get on the wheels....

Nope, Seen one split the same way as jase's at Nene vally (No jumps there) Think Samba have changed to very thin steel.

hi clive

not seen you at sweetnap for a while ?

yes you will need the baja wheel hex's , richard ran the Ultimate wheels on his v4 the weekend and they rub the rear hubs , but i dont know if he turned the top bolt round the other way

Hi guys, don't mean to hijack this thread. But I'm unable to start my own thread yet.

Couple of Q's:

A - Are the pipes for V3 and V4 same manifold lengths?

B - Anyone seen another one of these sexy VRC pipes for sale? Especially the Pro Pipe?

Cheers

I still have a Pro pipe and I would be prepared to sell it but I can't see how it will fit a Nutech Thunderbolt.... If you don't have the engine is was designed for (OBR 27.2cc) I wouldn't bother, the low end is poor....
