Now that i can place orders from downunder, i decided to go ahead and get both these sets :good:
Hope to get them by xmas.

Hi Franco,
the two stiffener sets are perfect to stabilize the RR5 and they make the RR5 more durable.
I drive them since some month and have no more problem with flexing the chassis plate.
No more problems with sliding out driving axis at the center diff to front or rear.
I can recommend this parts like all others from loew racingparts.

$740AUD for the front and rear brace delivered to Vic. Don't think so... :(
-
Andrew, sorry mate, but you really need to take into consideration that this is German Engineering, quality 7075 alloy parts are going to be expensive... as opposed to the Chinese cheese alloy bits.
The centre diff gear that i received from Loew Racing Parts were a perfect direct fit onto my RR5 chassis and driveline.... unlike that cheaper stuff that i have used during my RRV4 days, have had to file and recountersink/redrill holes just to make them fit ::)

Only being honest about the ludicrous price constraint for the average punter. I'm not here to have a conflict so please don't insinuate it.
-
Not insinuating anything towards or against you Andrew ???
Was just responding to your previous post... the "sorry mate" in my post was more sorry that you find it very expensive.
-
Yep overpriced expensive for the average Aussie consumer. I'm sorry too for them. I'm glad MCD brought out a cheapee version of the car because its inherently pretty good and will ensure more people get to have one :good:.
-
Ok Andrew... You've made your point  Thankyou.
-
I have to agree with Andrew on the price that's a big whack of coin for those parts.Being from Germany I would expect quality.Just sucks on the exchange rate for us.
-
Yep, i couldn't agree more with the both of you.... the current exchange rate is going to be a big sale killer. The current EUR to AUD exchange is 0.65... really just as bad as the UK Pound.
