New Jofer USA servo tray QR for large and standar servos

<< < (5/5)

BeatsMe:
I have been communicating with Joe about getting the servo tray re-designed, and the pictures on the JoferUSA website have not been updated....  just today i received my order from Joe, here are some pictures of the modified trays...

The main key changes that i requested, other then the Quick Release feature, with these is...
1/ the elongated steering servo wire cut-outs... on the previous version you had to thread the servo lead through the other sections of the tray because the cut-out was not long enough. I have been ranting about this on here for some time, and if you have ever had a servo fail on you at the track you will understand what i am talking about.
2/ The decorative cut-outs have been re-positioned to allow you to better cable tie the servo leads to the tray, rather then stuffing them in the battery box... i have always found it a pain to have to stuff everything back into the box at the track, so i tend to think that this will make thing so much better.
3/ I also requested that a threaded hole be added to allow for the standard mcd filter... yes i still use them and i think that they are the best thing since the introduction of sliced bread.

Personally i see these changes as the Racers Choice, and i'm very thankful for Joe listening as well as putting up with me  ;)

I will be fitting these to my RRV4 this week and will update my build thread soon, for now here are a few close up pictures...
