Half way through modifying the hubs just need to machine/taper down the steering stops. Mine measured about 8.6mm thick on the elcons and the mcd plastic hubs about 7.8mm. I notice the stops touching the wishbone first just prior to the steering full lock position. So will reduce the diameter to suit.

Changing the Castor changes the available lock on the steering stops in some cases  ;) ;)

I think that's longer then the stock ones, for the EC Steering kit. So don't think it will fit a stock setup.

well yes, I was wondering if I would need these for the EC front alloy hub, or can I stay with the stock ones?
I want to convert my stock setup to the EC alloy setup, front, and rear. The rear seems pretty straight forward.
The front, as I see needs some skill.
I just don't know if these are for the rally, buggy, or truck. I'd imagine that they are all different lengths, depending on the arm length.

I got a set of the elcon steering arms for my v4 and there longer than the ec kit ones and there not threaded enough to cut them down and far to big for the x4
Nothing leaves my house standard got to tinker with everything
