I recently measured one up (I assume the 1000SGT is the same size) and it did look like it might fit, although it would be very tight and you'd need to make up a custom alloy jig to hold it still... can't see a plastic tray holding it still.

I will have a better idea tomorrow. But that sounds promising. Thanks.

Sounds about right mate.... I normally run with the top shock mounts with the front one hole more leaned over then the rear.

Haven't tried playing with the ABS feature on my Futaba radio.

Does anyone know if the Losi 5ive-B pipe will fit the RR5 ?  They're strikingly similar

Thanks for your reply. But I have asked other locals and the simple answer is no it won't fit. But that doesn't mean I won't be able to get it to fit. Lol. I should have the buggy tomorrow. I have a plan that I hope will work...

Quick update on setup.
As per previous recommendations from Casper & Beatsme on shocks and diff - i have gone with one step at a time and laid my front shock to inner position of tower and rear to second inner position. Will look into opening rear diff if required after next couple of rounds.
Dramatic change, really happy with throttle on power, brake and cornering. I did setup my radio to apply an "ABS" effect with a delay of .8ms before abs kicks in, and this has changed the rr5 cornering effectiveness.

Cheers again fellas  :thank_you:

hey portyansky

Standard servo tray is 30x60 and Savox tray 30x66, think your servo's will probably fit the savox tray (though i am not sure if mcd have any Savox trays available?).
Having said that, maybe one of the pros; Beatsme or someone else can shed some light on fittings. ???
